Sometimes in ministry, there are seasons when you need a person with expertise and experience to walk alongside you for a period of time. They can be difficult seasons, challenging seasons, or simply exciting seasons that need more focus and clarity. Who is Lee Wilson, & how can he help?

With over 35 years of experience in children and youth ministry development, Lee has incredible insight into shaping vision, developing branding, building volunteer teams, and designing programming. Lee is the former youth pastor of Urban Oneighty, as well as the youth outreach ministry of Church on the Move. He is also the former co-host of Fire by Nite, a nationally syndicated TV program. He is the founder of Face2Face Summer Youth Conventions and a guest speaker at churches, camps, schools, and conventions – nationally and internationally. Lee has the unique capability of ministry to multicultural and multigenerational audiences. Urban or Suburban, staff or volunteer leadership, Lee knows how to create change by connecting people together in order to influence culture.

But perhaps most importantly, Lee has been there and done that. He has experienced the ups and downs of being a NEXGEN leader, both professionally and personally. To ensure longevity and health in ministry, it is important to learn how to maintain balance in that fine line between the practical of ministry and the personal of life. How to structure and plan, but also how to maintain a healthy marriage. How to ensure time management, but also how to protect integrity and personal character. There are so many areas in the life of a leader that need access to accountability in safe places where the leader can learn and grow.

Who is Lee Wilson?

As we think about the future, we have to think about who will be living in it, and most importantly, who will be leading it. That’s the reason the NEXGEN Leadership Program exists. Hello, I am Lee. I have served as a senior pastor and executive pastor, creative arts pastor, outreach pastor, children’s pastor, and youth pastor. I’ve lead youth and children’s ministries from the sizes of 25, 100 ,500 and 1000.

I’ve traveled over 1 million miles around the world from Africa to Europe and to over 200 cities in America ministering to the next generation. I’ve been a minister for over 35+ years.

My passion for young people and the next generation leader comes from my personal experience of receiving Jesus in my life as a teenager. My life mission is to empower next generation leaders to define their God-given purpose, and to live and lead their life on purpose.
